 A Dog’s Best Friend was first established in North Yorkshire in 1995 then relocated to Bo'ness in 2002. The business is now run from a purpose built, modern studio at home. It offers professional grooming services to ALL BREEDS, CROSSBREEDS & CATS on an individual appointment system which guarantees the one-to-one attention your "Best Friend" deserves. This also ensures the highest possible standards of hygiene, since your pet does not come into contact with other animals and cleaning of the premises can occur between each appointment.

 

The business obtains the majority of it's new customers from personal recommendations of satisfied customers, and many travel from as far afield as Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Lanark and the Scottish Borders to ensure they get the "Best" for their pet.

The Proprieter Mandy McDonald B.Sc. gained a 1st class Honours degree (Animal Science) in 1995 and since then has:

• Completed 4 years training in "Dog Grooming"

• Acquired over 20 yrs Professional experience

• Prepared winning dogs for exhibition at Crufts
